How to use the R.M.S®
Selling your ride is so easy when it comes to Street Rides thanks to our fantastic R.M.S®. The R.M.S® has been designed and developed to make your visit easy and hassle free.
We have taken the liberty of creating this simple step by step instruction guide for you to use should you have any troubles using the R.M.S® should you have any further troubles using it please do not hesitate to contact us by clicking here.
Step 1, Register an Account
To place an advert with Street Rides you have to first of all sign up to create your very own Members or Traders account. Once you have filled out the form and clicked submit you are now a member and you R.M.S® is now active. You are now ready to start selling!
Step 2, Add a new Ride
To place an ad with Street Rides you will have to locate the "Add a new Ride" link within the R.M.S®. This can be found in your member’s area or by clicking the SELL icon in the header section of the website,
You will be asked to enter some personal details which will be stored and saved to your profile for a later date.
Step 3, Edit Ride Details
This is where you need to enter all your ride details, Remember the more information you give the easier it is to sell!
NOTE!
Please take advantage of the top 4 Selling points option, this will help your ad stand out from the rest during a search
Step 4, Upload Ride Photos
The next step is to add the photos of your vehicle. You can add up to 7 images at no extra cost so feel free to take advantage of this option as the more pictures you provide the more chances you have of selling your ride!
Images must be uploaded in .JPG (jpeg) or .GIF format, most software program will be able to convert your images to this file.
Step 5, Pay for your Listing
Once you are happy with your listing you will then be required to pay for your listing (unless you are using a traders account) or submit the listing if using one of our fantastic free listing vouchers.
Note for Traders Account:
The trader R.M.S wrk slightly differently to a members account. As a new user your account will be suspended until you have made your first monthly payment with us. You will then be required to pay the re-occuring fee every 30 days to continue your account.
If you are paying for a listing you will be transferred to Paypal for final payment. If you are using a voucher you will be able to select this from the drop down menu inside the "Pay for your Listing" link and submit your free listing.
Your advert is now live!!
6, Managing your Ad
When your ad is live you will still have the ability to edit most of the details on your listing such as the Description, Images, Top Selling Pionts and the Mileage etc...
Simply click on your Members section and log in to your account to manage your add via the R.M.S®.
7, Removing your Ad
To remove your ad simply log into your members area and click on the link on the left hand side that reads ‘my rides’ you will then be taken to a page listing all your current rides you have for sale on the website.
To remove an ad find the relevant ride and simply click the delete link. The R.M.S® will now remove your ride for you automatically
