  • What is it?

De-cat pipes are a replacement for your Catalyctic converter. They can be purchased for most vehicle but if your car requires one by law they are not road legal im afraid!

    What are the advantages?

These do normally have a significant difference in performance and in some cases can remove the restrictor that is built into your original Cat Convertor.

    What are the disadvantages?

As mentioned before you will need a cat convertor on your car by law if your vehicle is maunfactored after 1992. If you are stopped by the police and your exhaust system is inspected you could face a bit of trouble. If your car is missing its cat convertor come MOT time your ride will fail and you will have to have it removed boefre it sees the road again.
